BioBloom hemp tea UK
A steaming cup of hemp tea is the perfect addition to any day. The fresh, savoury flavour of this hemp flower beverage from BioBloom can be enjoyed anytime.
The organic hemp flowers are handpicked and hand-processed to create a tea that is a step up from the usual blends that contain leaves and stalks. It comes in a reclosable paper bag containing 50g of loose tea.
One serving of BioBloom’s hemp flower tea makes a refreshing brew that is rich in beneficial cannabinoids and flavonoids. The main cannabinoid found in dried tea is CBDa, but it also contains small amounts of CBD and traces of THC.
The raw flower tea has been analysed by a third-party lab, and the results show its rich blend of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids including:
CBDa
CBD
CBC
THC
Terpenes and flavonoids include pinene, myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, farnesene, apigenin, luteolin, orientin, quercetin, kaempferol and vitexin.
When the tea has been infused in hot water, the main active ingredient is CBDa; there is only trace amounts of CBD and THC.
What is Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDa)?
This is a cannabinoid that occurs naturally in hemp and is a precursor to CBD. When exposed to high temperatures for a prolonged period, decarboxylation occurs, resulting in CBD. This doesn’t happen during the preparation of this tea, leaving CBDa as the main ingredient.
Found to have antioxidant properties, CBDa has also been linked to the inhibition of enzymes involved in your endocannabinoid system (ECS).
What are flavonoids?
These are also present in the final brew. They are found in most fruits and vegetables, are abundant in cannabis plants and add to the antioxidant power of this loose-flower hemp tea. They also interact with your ECS and can provide various health benefits.

BioBloom information
BioBloom is an Austrian family-run business which is now in its third generation. The Denk family see it as their mission to cultivate the hemp plant and support the well-being of their customers. Three generations of experience have helped them grow and become an international company of renown.
Theirs is one of a precious handful of farms with both the Austrian and Hungarian BIO certificates. These are awarded following rigorous inspections by Europe’s leading organic authorities. This is a fitting reward for the uncompromising high standards that have characterised BioBloom since their farm’s inception.
Other awards include:
Certification from the UK’s Biodynamic Association, a non-profit organisation that promotes biodynamic farming. This is like organic farming but based on principles set out by Rudolf Steiner.
The prestigious Arge-Canna seal of quality, the “AC Drop,” was presented by the Arge-Canna Patient Association to signify the highest standards in CO2 extraction.
BioBloom conducts meticulous lab tests to ensure its formulas contain a 50:50 CBD to CBDa ratio. This keeps them in line with the latest research, which points to the benefits of Cannabidiol being enhanced by the presence of its counterpart, CBDa.
Their drops are all whole-plant extracts and contain a full spectrum of cannabinoids, lipids, chlorophyll, terpenes, bioflavonoids and other phytonutrients present in Cannabis Sativa L. This gives their oil a distinctive dark colour and strong taste.

Suggested use
Add 1-2 teaspoons of dried CBD hemp tea to a cup of boiling water and steep for 5 – 10 minutes. For a milder flavour, pour the water 1 minute after boiling.
You can steep the leaves for longer to adjust the strength and increase the CBDa content of the tea. Five minutes gives a mild cup, whereas more than 7 minutes will deliver the delicious beverage at its full strength.
Hemp tea can be consumed up to 5 times per day.
We suggest drinking the tea with your meals or alongside a small amount of fat such as a biscuit or coconut oil. This will enhance the bioavailability of the tea.
